For Shrimp
Shell on shrimp
1 large egg
1/4 cup buttermilk OR 1/4 cup milk with 1 tsp lemon juice
Oil for frying
Coating for Shrimp
1/2 cup cornstarch
Sauce for Shrimp:
1/2 tablespoon Healthy Gourmet Kitchen hot buffalo dip mix
4 tablespoons butter, melted
1 tsp balsamic vinegar
Blue Cheese Dip
1/3 sour cream
1/3 mayo
1/3 cup blue cheese crumbles
2 T balsamic vinegar
1 tsp Healthy Gourmet Kitchen Dilly Dilly dry dip mix
Directions:
Remove shells from shrimp but leave the tails. Whisk egg with buttermilk. Add shrimp and marinate for approximately one hour.
Blue Cheese Dip
Blend sour cream, mayo, blue cheese crumbles, balsamic vinegar and Healthy Gourmet Kitchen Dilly Dilly dry dip mix in blender or food processor. Place in bowl and put in refrigerator.
Heat oil in pot if deep frying to 375F or preheat air fryer.
Place cornstarch on plate. Dredge marinated shrimp in cornstarch coating both sides. Fry in hot oil 3 - 4 minutes depending on the size of the shrimp. Remove from fryer and toss with Hot buffalo sauce.
Hot Buffalo Sauce: Mix 1/2 tablespoon Healthy Gourmet Kitchen hot buffalo dip mix, 4 tablespoons melted butter & 1 tsp balsamic vinegar.
Serve with Blue Cheese Dip
